There’s something special about using natural resources straight from the earth to self heal and give us a true connection to the planet and everything it has to offer. we believe the best advice you could ever receive is from our own bodies!

My journey into birth work began long before I ever called myself a doula. As a mother of three, I’ve walked through the joys, challenges, and deep transformations that come with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Each of my children’s births shaped me in different ways, and those experiences gave me a profound respect for the strength of women and the sacredness of bringing life into the world.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, which grounds my work in a holistic understanding of how nourishment supports the body through fertility, pregnancy, and recovery. My studies deepened my belief that food and lifestyle are not just fuel, but medicine, and I carry that into the way I support families today.

In addition to my academic background, I have been certified in Southern African midwifery traditions and herbal remedies. These teachings have connected me to the ancestral wisdom of birth—remedies, rituals, and practices that honor the natural rhythms of women’s bodies. It’s important to me to integrate this knowledge respectfully and mindfully, offering gentle alternatives and time-tested approaches that can complement modern care.

My yoga certifications in Hatha, Kundalini, and Nidra give me tools to support the emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of pregnancy and birth. Whether it’s using breathwork to calm the nervous system, meditation to quiet fears, or movement to ease discomfort, yoga has become an essential part of how I hold space for the families I serve.

I don’t see myself as just a birth worker—I see myself as a companion for one of life’s most profound transitions. I bring evidence-based knowledge, traditional wisdom, and a nurturing presence to each family I walk alongside. My role is never to take charge, but to remind mothers of the strength they already carry within them, and to make sure they feel seen, supported, and empowered every step of the way.

At heart, I’m simply a woman who believes in women—their resilience, their intuition, and their innate ability to birth. My work as a doula is not just a profession; it’s my calling!
